What is High-Water Mark?

The High-Water Mark (HWM) is the highest balance reached on an account and is used to determine the Max Total Loss limits. The HWM reflects the account’s peak profit and either remains unchanged or increases as profits grow. However, if profits are withdrawn, the HWM is recalculated and reduced accordingly.
